What is Massage Therapy, and Why Do You Need It?
Massage therapy is a non-invasive and effective treatment that helps manage and alleviate issues affecting daily life. It works by releasing tight structures in the body, reducing soft tissue restrictions, and promoting overall well-being. Studies have shown that massage therapy has significant benefits for both physical and mental health.
At Balance Lab Wellness, our registered massage therapists (RMTs) are trained to assess and treat various conditions through hands-on manipulation of body structures, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels, and soft tissues. Our approach also includes therapeutic exercises and patient education to ensure long-term benefits.

What to Expect During Your First Visit
Upon arrival, you will complete a health history form to help your massage therapist understand any existing conditions and treatment goals. Based on your needs, our RMTs customize treatments using a variety of techniques.
Feel free to communicate your preferences regarding pressure, techniques, or areas of focus to ensure a comfortable and effective session.
