Prenatal and Postnatal Massage FAQ
Is prenatal massage safe?
Prenatal massage is suitable for most healthy pregnancies, and your RMT will position you safely and comfortably at every stage. Let us know how far along you are when you book, and check with your doctor or midwife first if your pregnancy is considered high risk.
How much does a prenatal massage cost in Coquitlam?
A 60 minute pre or postnatal RMT session at Balance Lab Wellness is $130. Most extended health plans cover registered massage therapy and we direct bill them. Fees are as listed in our online booking in October 2026 and may change.
Who provides prenatal massage at Balance Lab Wellness?
Our registered massage therapists Chunghyo (CK) Kim, Justin Kim and Hyeri Na all provide prenatal and postnatal massage. Meet our RMTs.
Do you offer postnatal massage?
Yes. Postnatal massage supports recovery after birth, easing tension from feeding and carrying your baby, and helping with sleep and swelling.
